Evaluations
Many times, parents are seeking solutions for their child's challenges in learning, socializing, managing emotions, attention problems, and demonstrating self-care skills by a certain age. The place to start is with an evaluation. While the medical model serves to diagnose and treat primarily with medication therapeutic interventions, and school systems serve to identify eligibility for special programs and services, lots of kids fall somewhere in the middle. Often, parents aren't sure where to start and aren't sure they want medication therapy or school labels. Many parents want to understand their child better so they can make informed choices on taking the next steps.
If your family desires a consultation for an evaluation, RTX can help. RTX is qualified to administer a variety of emotional/behavioral, personality, cognitive, academic/learning, adaptive, and neuropsychological evaluation instruments helpful in identifying a child's strengths and potential, as well as challenges and needs. Arrange an assessment consultation to discuss your concerns and allow us to formulate a comprehensive assessment battery to address your concerns. We can provide Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs), ADHD, Autism, Twice Exceptional (2e), college readiness, career, and special focus evaluations (such as required to access specialized medical therapies, like ABA, for example).
Evaluations are Private Pay Services. Depending on the identified areas of concern, the assessment plan is discussed with the parents, and a Good Faith estimate is provided before any testing is initiated. Fees can range from $500-$3500 and require a service deposit. Payment plans and financing options are available.
