Contracted School Services 

Services are available for independent contracts with school districts experiencing staffing shortages. The benefits for districts choosing to contract with RTX include depth of experience and high practice standards in school-based evaluations.  While many districts are utilizing clinical psychologists for school evaluations, the completed reports often lack some of the components necessary for a complete educational eligibility determination evaluation.  These missing FIIE/FIE elements leave districts with either a non-compliant evaluation, or leadership must assign district evaluators extra duties in addendum work to bring evaluations into compliance.  This extends the time it takes to complete an evaluation and delays services for eligible students.  An RTX evaluation is not only IDEA/TEA-compliant, but we utilize best practice assessment principles to help the ARD committee develop a quality IEP program while achieving legal defensibility.  Recommendations are reasonable and educationally based.  RTX believes in comprehensive and efficient evaluations addressing all areas of suspected disability (within the practice scope of an LSSP) and incorporating a variety of current, valid instruments as sources in determining eligibility for special education services.  RTX believes in strengths-based interventions and uses neuro-affirming language in evaluation reports.
